TEETH WHITENING

Teeth whitening is considered one of the safest forms of cosmetic dentistry, and is a very easy way to update your smile.

At Whistler Dental, we can make almost anyone’s teeth whiter with our professional whitening methods, which offer much more dramatic results than store-bought whiteners.

We offer two different options:

Option #1

Take-Home Whitening

  • The designers of Zoom! and POLA Whitening have developed Take Home Whitening solutions.
  • This option uses a mild whitening solution placed in custom-fitted trays that you wear over both your upper and lower teeth for a prescribed number of minutes per day.
  • Take-home whitening is slower than our in-office whitening method but still provides beautiful results.

Option #2

In-House Whitening

  • The POLA Whitening method is a scientifically-advanced, patent-pending tooth whitening procedure.
  • It is safe, effective and very fast.
  • In one short visit, your teeth will become dramatically whiter – perfect for someone who is looking for immediate results.
  • The convenience of this in-office treatment, compared to days of wearing trays or strips, makes it the best choice for your busy schedule.

If you are considering having your teeth professionally whitened, please note that:

  • The degree of whitening will vary from patient to patient.
  • The whitening process is effective on most discolored teeth, but darker stains caused by antibiotics are more difficult to whiten.
  • It is important to whiten your teeth prior to any cosmetic restoration or you will risk a different color match, even if you whiten your teeth at a later date.
  • White composite fillings, porcelain veneers, crowns, bridges and implants will not whiten.

While many things in our world have changed, our dentists and team members remain committed to ensuring your visit to our practice is a safe and comforting experience.
A safe, secure, and sterile environment has always been a key pillar of how we operate our dental practice. It remains one of our top priorities to ensure that we minimize any real or perceived risks of exposure to viruses or contagions. However, in light of the recent coronavirus specific concerns, we have taken additional measures to enhance the existing infection policies, procedures, and controls we have in place.
